So, as many of you know, Iiiiii loveeeeeeeeeeeeee turtlessssss

My roommate and I have been toying with the idea of getting a little tiny one for a while now. I used to have two red-eared sliders, but I fed them WAY too many feeder fish and freeze-dried crickets and they got massive. Too massive, so I set them free <3

Anyway, I went down to Aqua World on Tyler Street in Chinatown and started talking to the man who works there. I had walked around and only saw fish - BUT I did spy turtle food and turtle gear. I asked him when he thought he’d have some tiny turtles, and he said around the first week of April.

… then the other woman working came up the counter with two tiny turtles in a box! I stared and pointed like this for a whole 20 seconds:

Uhm… I really, really love turtles. 

So I start fawning and I ask to see them. He brings me to the back and they have about 10 left for now, and they’re 8$ each. Very easy to take care of, but they NEED to stay warm at all times. Poor little babiesssss. 

So, I think my birthday present to myself is going to be a little baby turtle. Originally it was going to be an industrial piercing… fuck, it still might be, but I can ONLY have both if I’m in the 120’s by my birthday. 

I fully do not think this could possibly happen.
